It Happened One Night, the Poem
|
It happened one night
as the story is told.
Under a fair moonlit sky
in the western land of gold. |
|
When a knight known as Bernie
of the Hunt family clan,
Pledged his life and his love
to the lady Deborah Ann |
|
He was a road warrior whose quests
earned many miles of frequent flight.
She was a gifted and spirited healer
changing lives with touch and insight. |
|
Five promises he made to her
as they stood by the sea
To provide, protect, and stand by,
to love and make her a priority. |
|
She joyfully accepted
as they embraced by the sand.
As he bonded his honor
placing a jewel on her hand. |
|
Now they will build together
a new life in a new home
Bernie packed his ass up
and moved to Port Washington |
|
So the story just begins
and we wish your future bright
may all your days be as magical
as when "It happened one night" |
